BAUER POWER ELECTRICAL ENGINEER RECEIVES NABCEP CERTIFICATION
Bauer Power is excited to announce that Chuck Ammond, our Director of Engineering, has obtained
his NABCEP Certified Installer Certification. Chuck is one of only a few Certified Installers listed in
Michigan. NABCEP, The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, is a volunteer board of
renewable energy stakeholder representatives that includes representatives of the solar industry,
NABCEP certificants, renewable energy organizations, state policy makers, educational institutions,
and the trades. Chuck has been working as a system integrator since the early 1980s, and working
on renewable energy projects for the past 2-1/2 years. He has a Bachelors degree in Electrical
Engineering as well as a Masters in Business Administration. His role within the company is to provide
design expertise to create systems that meet the electrical and mechanical requirements, while
providing aesthetic value to the installation. He manages many of the projects to assure all elements
of planning and execution take place effectively to deliver the highest quality turn-key systems.
NABCEP’s mission is to support, and work with, the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries,
professionals, and stake holders–is intended to develop and implement quality credentials and
certification programs for practitioners. Professionals who choose to become certified demonstrate
their competence in the field and their commitment to upholding high standards of ethical and
professional practice.
